"Just a short note to say how much we have appreciated the professional way you have handled our affairs. We are used to dealing with a variety of people, although in different contexts, and we have valued the way you made us feel welcome and an integral part of the process you were engaged in. Some professionals, either consciously or inadvertently, create a sort of 'mystique' around what they do and make you feel they are doing you a favour letting you into their specialist world but we both felt fully part of what was going on from the beginning and that we were not merely clients but were being treated as friends. Thank you for that: a difficult and stressful time was made much easier for us and the eventual outcome was a natural result of all that had gone before""
