"I’d like to thank you for the guidance, advice, encouragement and empathy you have shown towards myself and [wife] during the past three years. We have both grown very fond of you. You have witnessed many of our ups and downs and ultimately seen us through to an outcome we were always sure we deserved but never certain we would reach. You have at least restored my faith in one British institution. The NHS, however, has some work to do."
Mr R of Northants
