Trainee Legal Executive
Jessica joined the Clinical Negligence Team in 2014 and is the first point of contact for clients calling with a clinical negligence enquiry.
Jessica has a background in care having worked for both Mencap and Bupa while preparing to go to law school.
Upon graduation from law school. Jessica worked for a number of well-known personal injury, insurance and clinical negligence firms, gaining broad and diverse experience in all aspects of clinical negligence.
Jessica is also an Ambassador for the charity Action Medical Research for Children.
Jessica primarily advises clients on the initial stages of a claim and funding options. She helps clients to understand the procedure that can be expected when pursuing a clinical negligence claim. She also works with clients to obtain the appropriate funding for their claim.
Jessica also provides advice in respect of making complaints to health care providers, insurance matters and mental capacity in the context of making a claim.
Jessica also assists senior Solicitors with cases involving all aspects of medical and dental treatment.
Jessica obtained her law degree and her legal practice certificate from the University of the West of England (UWE). During her studies, Jessica developed a particular interest in medical law.
Jessica is due to start her Legal Executive training in 2015.
